🌍 As part of our collaboration with the French Development Agency (AFD – Agence Française de Développement), we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation to the EDF Campus Paris‑Saclay, the leading European training center dedicated to the energy sector.

The visit was an opportunity to present the skills management model developed by Enedis, the operator of the French public electricity distribution network, as well as our service offering designed to support African operators in strengthening their human capital.

The delegation also explored our workshops, training facilities, equipment used in our programs, and observed real‑life training situations.

Thanks to Eva Fernandez (Head of the Enedis Campus) and Aline Martins (EDF IN Project Manager).

🌏 EDF International Networks is supporting Elektrodistribucija Srbije doo Beograd (EDS) in the large‑scale modernization and digitalisation of Serbia’s electricity distribution network, strengthening its resilience, efficiency and safety.

🔹 Last week in Belgrade, important discussions took place on the future of energy cooperation between France and Serbia.

🔹 Teams from EDF and EDF International Networks also gathered at the French Embassy to exchange on current and future cooperation opportunities in the energy sector — once again highlighting the EDF Group’s strength in mobilizing complementary expertise across the entire electricity value chain.

🔹 From generation to networks, transforming power systems requires a systemic vision — a hallmark of the EDF Group built on decades of experience.

🔹 Constructive discussions, strong alignment and promising perspectives ahead.

🌍 Collaboration with AFD – Agence Française de Développement: Showcasing the Excellence of the French Electricity Distribution Sector

We were pleased to welcome a delegation of 20 experts from AFD – Agence Française de Développement to our Innovation Lab. This visit showcased the unique expertise and operational excellence EDF Group and the French electricity distribution sector.

🔹 The discussions focused on the specific challenges faced by DSOs (Distribution System Operators) in the energy transition: grid modernization, large-scale renewable integration, and digital flexibility. To meet these needs, France has developed Leading expertise and established solutions tailored to the complex evolution of distribution networks.

🔹 A key highlight was the «Equipe France» (Team France) approach. We emphasized how the synergy between institutional partners like AFD and French technical experts provides a powerful, integrated value proposition for major international infrastructure projects.

🔶 We sincerely thank the AFD teams for their visit and the quality of our technical exchanges.
