This event allowed participants to share insights on how digital solutions are transforming the electric systems, especially on the distribution side.

⚡ Our presentation provided an opportunity to showcase, with France as an example, the advantages of smart metering and network digitalization, emphasizing the need to rethink control rooms from both IT/OT and organizational perspectives, as discussed by Mathieu Carluer and Charles E. Côté

EDF International Networks fosters the resilience of Ukraine’s electricity distribution network.

EDF International Networks is proud to have been selected among 70 projects for the Ukraine Fund to support the reconstruction of the country.

On Friday March 7, we had the pleasure of being received by Eric Lombard (Minister of Economy and Finance), Jean-Noël Barrot (Minister of Foreign Affairs)  in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, along with the 16 other winners of the Ukraine Fund. France’s commitment illustrates its determination to support the Ukrainian people and ensure Ukraine’s economic resilience.

EDF International Networks will support the resilience of the Ukrainian electricity distribution network by modernizing and digitizing electricity distribution substations and changing the voltage of the network.

This support, from the Ukrainian Fund, will help us strengthen our existing partnership with Ukrainian authorities on the country’s networks reconstruction and allow us to accompany Ukraine  in bringing its electricity system up to European standards.

🌏 Our teams are committed to developing smart metering in India 🇮🇳

Last week, our CEO, Éric BEAUJEAN , travelled to Delhi to meet our local teams and sign an agreement with BGPL to develop AMI projects in India. 🤝

Backed by the know-how of our Indian employees and those of our French counterparts, this agreement opens up new prospects for the development of smart meters worldwide.

As the demand for electricity ⚡ increases with the electrification of uses and the integration of renewable energies, EDF International Networks, the bearer of the EDF Group’s excellence in international distribution, supports DSOs in the digitization of their networks.

The signing of this contract reinforces EDF International Networks’ commitment to the Indian electricity sector to improve the quality and reliability of the network thanks to smart meters.
