🌟 Wrapping Up a Remarkable 9-Month Consultancy Mission 🌟

📅After 9 months of collaboration, we’re proud to announce the successful completion of a consultancy mission where EDF IN had the privilege of being the expert consultancy partner for UTE.

This project focused on Assessing the cybersecurity maturity of UTE Distribution and delivering a comprehensive action plan to enhance resilience and security.

🤝We are grateful for the trust and partnership of UTE and for the dedication of everyone involved in this journey. This mission underscores our commitment to being a strategic partner for utilities in cybersecurity, leveraging the expertise of a DSO actively addressing the risks inherent to this field. By sharing proven strategies and implementing effective measures within their organizations and systems, we aim to enhance resilience and security across the electricity sector.

🌍World Bank organized a Cyber Study Tour in France from 3 to 6 december 2024 🔐

The french energy actors received 50 cybersecurity professionals from 25 countries and 10 World Bank employees from the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program in order to share their know-how in cybersecurity. 🔐 💻

💡 EDF International Networks, through its CISO, Goery CHACHAY , had the opportunity to share some use cases with clients worldwide and the new cybersecurity challenges that the DSO have to face to.

🌏 Sébastien Brun represents EDF International Networks at the Metering India 2024 conference 🚀

Sébastien had the honour of participating in the 10th edition of #MeteringIndia2024 on the theme “Sustainable & Consumer Centric Utilities towards NetZero”. His paper, which focused on three innovative EDF International Networks solutions was selected for an in-room presentation :

🚗 An innovative to speed up connection studies (renewable energy and emobility);
⚡ One that allows the use of zero-emission generators instead of conventional diesel generators;
📊 And a regional energy balance: presenting local authorities with their energy balance.

This was an opportunity to showcase EDF International Network’s expertise in transforming distributors into data operators.

👏 It was also an opportunity to visit our Indian teams – thank you Eric Lehouelleur and Yves Fouquet for your warm welcome! – who are in charge of our Indian projects, including our subsidiary’s largest: the historic EESL project.

🚀A highlight with our local teams on the ground in Mozambique🌍

Yesterday, our CEO, Éric Beaujean, had the pleasure of visiting our EDF International Networks Mozambique teams in the KampFumo district of Maputo City.

This immersive experience with our 40 field technicians provided a unique opportunity to join them in their daily missions:

✅ Customer surveys and inspections conducted with EDM’s residential clients.
✅ A tangible contribution to reducing EDM’s non-technical losses, a key challenge for enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of the power grid.

This day also offered a chance to share the challenges, successes, and crucial work our teams carry out every day to support our partners and deliver innovative solutions.
