We had the pleasure and the honor of welcoming M. Dorin Junghietu, the Minister of Energy of Moldova, and his team to the French DSO’s lab to present our unique experience in Advanced Metering Infrastructure projects Design and Implementation.

Moldova is currently in the process of deploying smart meters to implement a more digital, efficient, and sustainable energy system. We are proud to contribute to this major transformation project by sharing our expertise and innovative solutions

EDF International Networks signs a MoU with Samarkand State Architecture and Construction University (SamSACU) : promoting educational and technical exchanges to meet the challenges of the energy transition

In the context of the implementation of new mechanical and electrical engineering programs by SamSACU, this MoU aims to lay the foundations for academic cooperation with French universities/schools (drawing on the EDF Group network) and internship programs within the EDF Group for students from SamSACU.

l’INSA Centre Val de Loire, present at the event, has already expressed interest in collaborating with SamSACU.

For EDF International Networks, this is a key step in the partnership with Samarkand City on Smart grids implementation.

EDF International Networks attended the AIEQ Forum to showcase our grid modernization expertise

This event allowed participants to share insights on how digital solutions are transforming the electric systems, especially on the distribution side.

Our presentation provided an opportunity to showcase, with France as an example, the advantages of smart metering and network digitalization, emphasizing the need to rethink control rooms from both IT/OT and organizational perspectives, as discussed by Mathieu Carluer and Charles E. Côté

The interactions were enriching and underlined our expertise and commitment.
